Many of you have listened to Wes tell the story of General
Mamur’s conversion to Christ. The bond of friendship and brotherhood between
our families is a gift from the LORD. On 15 Mach 2012, General and his
beautiful wife, Maria, welcomed their daughter into this world.
We praise God together with them for this gift! Zuri means “beautiful”
in Swahili, and let me tell you she really lives up to her name. I had the
privilege of holding her and listening to her sweet angelic voice. When Zuri
looks intently at something I see the same determined tenacity of her heroic
father.

Maria is a mighty woman of faith and the perfect helpmate to General. General and Maria are boldly sharing the truth...I see them living out Philippians 2:15-16 for His glory. We pray this family will bring revival, healing, and continued hope to
South Sudan and we love you!
That you may become blameless and harmless,
children of God without fault in the midst
of a crooked and perverse
generation,

It was an amazing honor to meet general and his beautiful wife and actually be at their wedding!!! Thank you Lord for that opportunity
She is beautiful angel, tell brother Mamur and Maria congrats to their new precious daughter and I love and miss them and praying for them! This is so exciting news!!!
