Harvest of Souls at Canaan Farm!

It is getting to harvest time in Uganda and farmers are getting ready for a big harvest this year. As farmers at Canaan farm and surrounding villages in Kiriyandongo prepare to start bringing in their harvest of corn, sunflower, vegetables and fruits they witnessed a different kind of harvest, a harvest of souls for the kingdom of God.

A two day Gospel retreat organized by Vicky Bentley for women involved in Rabuna Fi projects took place at Canaan farm on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th. The retreat specifically organized for ladies turned out to host men as well who turned up in big numbers after word of the retreat filtered through the village. As a result over 500 people got the opportunity of hearing the Good News taught. The theme of the retreat centered on the Church as the bride of Christ.

The presence and power of God was so real during the meetings and as a result over 30 people received Jesus Christ for the first time in their lives. At the end of the retreat believers faith in Christ was strengthened and more souls were added into the kingdom.  Praise the Lord!!

Please continue to pray for us as we continue to teach both the women and the men and disciplining the new believers. Pray that God will speak through us and us as vessels of his Love to the community.

Blessings,

Richard & Suzan
