CC Thika Update from Tom and Cheryl Rees

“Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:1-2

Sunday Service at Calvary Thika

Tom is on the last chapter of Galatians and taught a wonderful message on what it means to be restored. Restore means to rebuild, return to the original condition or to set a broken bone. As Christians we are called to be restorers, to fix what is broken and restore others over-taken by sin. We are restorers or those who need to be restored. We need to walk side by side, taking the time to love and encourage others thus fulfilling the law of Christ.

Prayer Requests

Pray for Edwin who is newly saved and dealing with peer pressure from unsaved friends. Edwin's brother Samuel has been arrested and his family doesn't know why.

Pray for John and Lucy and their catering business, they haven't had much work this past week.

Pray for people to attend the prayer time on Sunday mornings before the service and timing to begin lunch time devotions during the week.
